Jack Haggard is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Summerland Key, FL who attends Key West. Medium athletic build for a freshman with the beginnings of some strength and more to come, young overall look. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a good lower half shift into contact, will get out over his front side too far at times, swings hard and creates some young bat speed with good barrel to ball skills. 7.44 runner, has solid fundamental footwork in the outfield and works through the ball with clean and smooth hands, fluid arm stroke that should keep improving in its strength and carry as he gets older. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot from a high leg lift delivery, front side opens early and he'll fall off to the third base side on release at times. Mid-70's fastball topped out at 77 mph, also threw a big sweeping curveball. Good young athlete who should continue to improve. Excellent student.
