Louis Besa is a 2007 MIF/OF with a 5'8'', 125 lb. frame from Lake Worth FL, who attends Grandview Prep. He has a small frame and a very slender build. Besa has deceptive strength for his size, though. He uses his hips very well to generate torque in his swing and takes an aggressive hack at the ball. He does tend to drift to his front side in anticipation of swinging. If some 180-200 lb players took the same approach as Besa does there would be a lot more hitting in the game today. Besa hit nice line drives to all fields and was a tough out every time up. He's a 7.21 runner with some first step quickness. Besa has second base actions and arm strength. He gets rid of the ball quickly and has some lateral range because of his quickness. He also played some outfield and looked comfortable out there as well. Besa is a hustler and is maximizing his tools when he's on the field. He is also a very good student.
