Alex Shelton is a 2022 3B/C with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Brentwood, MO who attends St. Louis University HS. Medium athletic build, good size for a freshman with plenty of physical projection and room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright stance, lots of moving parts to start but keeps himself well timed, long and loose swing with a high finish, tends to give up his hands a bit early, handles the ball well and works the middle to pull side with some lift. 7.88 runner, light on his feet on defense and works around the ball, charged well, glove tends to get down late, developing arm strength. Good student.
