Peyton Jula is a 2019 RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends Cardinal Mooney HS. Tall and projectable frame with some athleticism. Primary righthanded pitcher that only threw during the event. Works exclusively from the stretch and has some lower half involvement with good hip turn at the top. Leg lift above the waist with a crossfire step toward the plate. Gets through the backside well with a smaller arm circle. Works from a high three-quarters arm slot. Good extension and follow through and attacks the zone well while working fast. Fastball topped out at 86 mph with slight arm side run. Creates downhill plane with a power curve and tight spin. Shows bite with 11/5 shape and lands it well. Changeup showed some feel for the pitch but the curveball is the swing-and-miss offering. Good student. Named to the Sunshine East TP List.
