Frankie Giorgi is a 2007 RHP with a 6'3'', 200 lb. frame from Kentfield CA, who attends Marin Catholic. Giorgi has a tall body with a good strong build. Giorgi pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. He has an inline delivery and throws with minimal effort. Giorgi lands with a stiff front leg and has a straight up finish. He gets good armside run on his fastball when it's down in the zone. Giorgi's curveball has good spin and has good depth to it. There is more velocity in there that can be attained with a few minor adjustments. At the plate, Giorgi starts with a closed stance and hits off his front foot. He jumps at the ball in the zone and works around the ball in his swing. Giorgi looks to lift the ball and has a slight uppercut in his swing. Giorgi is an interesting follow and could really blossom with few adjustments.
