Kyler Lester is a 2021 2B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Cedar Hills, UT who attends Pleasant Grove HS. Compact frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Ran a 7.14 sixty-yard dash. Primary second baseman with clean footwork while rounding and surrounding the baseball. Funnels from a slightly deeper position and works through exchange efficiently. Released from a compact arm slot producing accurate carry across the infield at 81 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with upright, open stance and reaching front side trigger. Glides into contact with some linear lower half actions. Loose, extended path to baseball with a level, line drive barrel plane. Flashed solid feel for the barrel and looked to drive the baseball to the middle of the field. Displayed the ability to drive the baseball to the pull side gap when throwing barrel head to contact out front. Good student as well.
