Wyatt Talik is a 2022 C/OF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview. Medium frame with a compact, strong build. Ran a 6.97 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down in his stance as he proved to be flexible and athletic. Soft hands as he received the baseball well and had feel for framing the baseball. Quick transfers on throw downs as he looked to keep the baseball down. Recorded a 2.12 second pop time. Fundamentally sound behind the dish. Secondary Outfielder, sitting back on the baseball and then charging it hard once he gets into his route. Clean gather and then works into an urgent transfer. Shorter arm action and looks to carry the baseball all the way to target. Was accurate with his throws. Right-Handed Hitter, starting from an open stance and then strides out. Slight bat wrap over the helmet and then works into a longer swing path. Middle of the field type approach as he looks to drive it on a line. Strong hands proving he could impact the baseball with some juice behind it. Outstanding Student.
