Alex Johnson is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Roswell. Large frame with a lean, slender type build showing room to fill out physically in the future. Ran a 7.13 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a full wind-up with a higher leg lift before working down the hill. Shorter stride as he releases from a high three-quarter slot. Fastball up to 79 mph as it shows good arm side run and he was able to locate it to both sides of the dish. Mixed in a breaking ball showing depth with similar arm speed and slot as the fastball. Confident on the mound and projects here going forward. Secondary Outfielder, showing quick first step actions as he works into the baseball with urgency. Slows down at gather to make sure it is clean before working into transfers. Long arm action and released with intent as he threw it 75 mph. Right-Handed Hitter, balanced in the stance to start as he works into stride while creating separation. Quick hands as he delivers the bat head on time while proving he can spray it to all fields. Bat on ball skills present as he found the barrel consistently. Fundamentally sound swings and will continue to progress with a strength gain. Great Student.
