Logan Groff is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Garden Grove, CA who attends Pacifica. Large frame with an already filling out build showing broad shoulders and a sturdy lower half. Ran a 7.49 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with an overall smooth operation as he stays balanced throughout the delivery. Fairly short arm action as he released from an over the top slot. Did a good job working downhill as he generated easy velocity. Fastball was up to 84 mph as it jumped out of hand showing arm side life. Flashed a vertical breaking ball with 12-to-6 movements that was sharp when landed. Also proved to have feel for a fading changeup that he maintained arm speed with. Rounded off his four pitch mix with a slider showing sweep that he had good command of. Confident in his arsenal and projects on the mound going forward. Secondary Outfielder, working into the baseball with aggressive routes as he carried weight well into the gather. Scoops it up cleanly before releasing with intent as he proved to have a strong arm. Low, accurate throws as he threw it 87 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting even and inline before working into a leg kick load to stride. Active hands as he stayed linear through the zone. Proved he could match plane and generated loud contact when he squared it up. Also showcased he could drive it deep to the pull-side for power. Good Student.
