Logan Lam is a 2007 3B/1B with a 6'2'', 205 lb. frame from Cooper City FL, who attends Cooper City HS. He has a large frame and a powerful body. Lam moves well for a big young player, running the 60 in 7.36 and showing some range at third base, especially to his left. His arm strength is a bit short for third base and he likely profiles as a first baseman/left fielder at the next level. Lam's big tool is his bat. He hits from a wide stance and does a very good job getting his hands ready to hit and keeping his weight back and behind the ball. Lam has very quick and strong hands and can hit the ball deep in the zone and still drive it hard. He has plus bat speed. Lam doesn't get much extension on his swing right now but if he learns to hit through the ball he could develop scarry power in the future. He has a high ceiling as a hitter and his bat will carry him at the next level. Lam is an excellent student.
