Jackson DeCamp is a 2022 C/RHP, MIF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Blessed Trinity Cath. Showcased a medium frame with a lean, lower half strength type build. Room to fill down the road in the upper half. Ran a 7.38 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher receiving the baseball out front. Gains ground on throws with quick transfer. One hop throws on the bag consistently. Raw mechanics. Secondary Righthanded pitcher working into a belt high leg lift while loading up on back side. Large arm circle in the back with a clean arm action. High three-quarter arm slot hiding the baseball well. Filled up the strike zone showing good command for both pitches. Fastball topping out at 81 mph and a curveball with 11/5 break showing depth. Righthanded hitter starting balanced with a slightly open stance. Hands low before working into a linear swing path. Looks to attack top half of the baseball. Finds barrel consistently. Middle of the field type approach. Great Student.
