Daniel Galvan is a 2018 RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Key West, FL who attends Key West HS. Medium build, skinny frame with lots of room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.29 second 60 yard dash. Only pitched at the event, righthanded pitcher, simple side step to a leg lift at belt line, stays inline at balance point, short arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, repeatable delivery, ball comes out well with some effort at release, gets decent drive from back leg down the mound, gets out over front foot mostly well but does occasionally cut himself off but the arm is continually on time through circle. Fastball worked in the low-80s topping out at 84 mph, filled up the strike zone with both fastball and curveball, could command fastball better from stretch, curveball showed good shape and spin with 11-to-5 shape. Excellent student. Named to 2018 World Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
