Noah Riley is a 2019 RHP/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Columbia, IL who attends Columbia HS. Medium athletic build, has room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a very long stride out front and a notable back side collapse, pretty compact arm action in back, some energy on release. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight with occasional run when down in the zone. Primary fastball pitcher, rare slider has a short break and some tightness to get off barrels. Delivery causes his pitches to flatten out and lack plane at the plate. Right handed hitter, upright narrow stance, short uphill swing with an early top hand turn out front, pull to mid field contact. Outstanding student.
