2020 PG Summer Main Event Showcase
Hoke Skipper is a 2022 RHP/IF, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Blackshear, GA who attends Pierce County HS. Recorded a 7.40 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame and build with lots of room to project physically. Primary righthanded pitcher with a whippy, short arm action. Filled up the strike zone and worked downhill with the fastball that topped out at 85 mph. Good breaking ball and shows some bite to the offering. Holds velocity well and showed the ability to throw all three pitches for strikes in any count. Arm strength also plays from secondary position of the infield. Lefthanded hitter with a lower hand set and a direct bat path. Rotational mechanics with a short swing path. Gap to gap approach with the barrel and shows the ability to separate and drive the ball with intent. Great student. Named to the 2020 PG Summer Main Event TP List.
