Joey Ozarowski is a 2007 LHP/OF from West Boca High School in Boca Raton, FL, with a 5'10'', 185 lb. frame. Was named to the Top Prospect Team at the event. Ozarowski is a strong lefty who shows good poise and presence on the mound. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a smooth arm action and good arm speed. Ozarowski has an easy and deliberate motion with a short arm circle on the back side. He gets good running action with his fastball in on the hands of left handed hitters and he will break many wood bats in his time. His fastball topped out at 89 mph and he maintained that velocity well due to his strength and solid mechanics. Ozarowski mixes in a nice 1 to 7 curveball with late biting action that will help keep hitters off his fastball. He has a good two pitch mix and a strong arm that make him a must follow. At the plate he is a left handed hitter with strength in his swing. He shows good bat speed and like the ball on the inner third. Ozarowski has two-way potential, but we really like what he has to offer on the mound.
