Taylor Trillo is a 2024 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Pinnacle. Ran a 7.51 second sixty. Primary first baseman with a large athletic build. Look comfortable at first base with the actions around the bag and making accurate feeds to section base with accurate throws. Waits back on the ball in the outfield with a measured approach getting the ball out on time with a quicker gather and longer arm action showing some carry to the bases. Worked from the stretch only on the mound with a smaller leg lift staying on line to the plate. The arm works on a longer track through the back up to a high three-quarters arm slot. Looks to work ahead with the fastball early in counts sitting 76-80 mph and looking to work to the glove side. Showed better feel for the changeup in this look, throwing it with conviction and showing some late turn over through the zone. Showed the slider with sweeping action in the low 70's with true spin traits and young command. Left-handed hitter, starts with an open base with a simple stride to get back to even. Showed some strength at the point of contact when he can get to a position of extension at contact. Drove the ball with authority to the pull side at times with an exit velocity in the upper 80's. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 National Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
