Austen Roellig is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Etiwanda. Medium athletic middle infielder's build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a rock back and in load, easy and fluid swing with very consistent timing, hands work very well through the ball and the barrel spends lots of time in the zone, gap to gap line drive contact, projects well with the bat as he gets stronger. Second base tools on defense, works through the ball with confidence, has very soft hands and the glove is always in good position, polished footwork and a smooth transfer into his throws. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
