Cole Hilliard is a 2021 SS with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Poway, CA who attends Poway HS. Medium and slender frame, projectable with room to continue to fill out physically. Ran a 7.60 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves to the baseball with deliberate and nimble actions, smooth hands that play the baseball cleanly, moves into a longer release with uphill carry to the bag, developing arm strength with accuracy to the bag, topped out at 69 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with an upright and narrow stance, mostly clean strength with young and projectable strength currently, middle of the field line drive approach at the plate with the ability to execute, will only improve with strength at the plate.
