Brandon Heidal is a 2020 C with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Anaheim, CA who attends Orange Lutheran HS. Medium frame with some athleticism in build and square shoulders. Ran a 7.22 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Receives the ball out front. Gains some ground out of stance. Shows some quickness in arm with a shorter action. Some strength in throws staying accurate to the bag topping out at 78 miles per hour and popping a 2.02. Righthanded hitter with a and even stance and leg lift trigger for timing. High hand and back elbow set. Shorter swing with rotational actions creating lift. Good student as well. Named to the 2018 West Coast Prospect Top Prospect List.
