Adrian De Orta is a 2020 OF/ with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Whittier, CA who attends La Habra. Compact frame with a lean, athletic build. Ran a 7.05 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with smooth paced, clean footwork while moving into and working through the baseball. Funnels out front and maintained momentum towards the bag while working through exchange. Released from a three-quarters slot showing good arm strength with carry, topped at 85 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a spread, balanced stance. Created some shift into baseball with lower half. Utilized a compact hand path to contact with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Showed present strength at contact with the ability to generate tight back spin off the barrel with carry to the gaps when squared. Very good student as well.
