Henry Boehm is a 2021 RHP with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from McLean, VA who attends The Potomac. Strong athletic build with room to get stronger. Side step delivery with a big leg raise, leans off his upper body and tends to land open with his front side, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, very consistent mechanics despite his lack of idea direction to the plate. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 80 mph, has been up to 81-83 mph at PG tournaments this summer, fastball is straight with occasional cutting action, works his fastball aggressively early in the count to the strike zone and can hit spots with intent. Slurve type breaking ball with pretty consistent depth and the ability to land the pitch for strikes, uses his curveball well on the proper counts. Very effective four inning outing, was in control the entire way. Very good student
