Arden Underwood is a 2019 LHP/ with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Neptune, NJ who attends Neptune. Lean and athletic frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 5.66 second 40 yard dash. Only pitched at the event, lefthanded pitcher, starts windup with a side step up to a stiff leg lift slightly above belt, full arm action up to an extended ¾ slot, sits on back leg and drives off of it but could get more from lower half for added arm strength and velocity, should work out releasing more out in front, front side tends to open up early causing arm to drag through arm circle, hips open up early. Fastball showed varying life to armside and some sinking action at times as well, fastball topped out at 74 mph, flashed a straight changeup that showed potential. Excellent student.
