Joel Presley is a 2022 2B/RHP with a 5-10 130 lb. frame from Ray City, GA who attends Tiftarea Academy. Medium frame with a high-waisted, lanky type build showing room to fill out down the road. Ran a 7.67 second sixty yard dash. Primary Second Baseman, showing a good first step as he works athletically to and around the baseball. Clean gathers with the glove out front and then shuffles into throws. Accurate to the bag from multiple slots as he threw it 74 mph during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a balanced motion as he drops down to a low side-arm slot, almost submarine. Filled up the zone and did a nice job of keeping the baseball low. Fastball was up to 70 mph as he went right after hitters. Fielded his position well on the mound. Right-Handed Hitter, big load up to stride with active hands showing a waggle. Linear swing path as he proved he could spray the baseball to all fields. Got extended in game and drove one down the pull-side line for a double. Outstanding Student.
