AJ Prendergast is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Coral Springs Charter. Medium frame with room to fill out physically. Ran a 7.54 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with a quick side step delivery into a medium leg lift to the belt. Lands in line down the mound with an average stride down. Very compact arm action in the back into a three-quarter release. Straight fastball with average command around the zone topping out at 73 miles per hour. Shows feel for a slider that will land for strikes and create some soft contact. Also worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Deliberate close when working through the baseball. Short arm action through wind up with soft carry the the bags. Remains accurate to the infield. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance to start. Long bat path to contact with a line drive approach. Works the middle of the field with consistency. Very good student as well.
