Pierce Zylman is a 2019 RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Episcopal HS. Solid athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Works from the stretch with a 3/4's arm slot that creates some angle to the plate, moderate effort to his delivery, gets good drive off his back leg and repeats his mechanics well, has some whip to his arm. Fastball topped out at 84, gets heavy life to his fastball at times, pitches primarily with his fastball and does a good job of spotting the pitch. Slider showed some promise with occasional spin and tightness, softer curveball still developing. Good student.
