Jacob Dows is a 2022 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-11 158 lb. frame from Mechanicsburg, PA who attends Cumberland Valley. Ran a 7.72 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a young frame and lean build. Has a short and quick arm stroke, coming from a three-quarter slot and getting good extension over the front side. Creates some deception with a high glove side, attacking hitters with a fastball up to 75 miles per hour. Mixes speeds with curveball with 12-6 shape at 59 miles per hour. Secondary third baseman that has developing flow to actions, with developing arm strength across the diamond at 73 miles per hour. Also worked out in the outfield, showcasing developing footwork to the ball. Arm works well with the same developing arm strength. Has some strength in the hands at the plate, generating some good, line drive jump at times. Has a rotational lower half, using a line drive barrel plane and middle of the field approach. Good student.
