2018 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Michael Fletcher is a 2019 3B/OF, RHP with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Lakewood, CA who attends St. John Bosco. Large and physical frame with plenty of present strength. Ran a 7.37 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield sitting back on the baseball and showing mobility to either side laterally, hands are playable out in front, shuffles into release coming from a compact arm action, made all plays and displaying average arm strength, topped out at 79 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a wide based set at the plate and a high hand/high back elbow placement, shows some looseness to and loft to the swing with strength off of the barrel when squared, uses some of his lower half but could get more into the swing. Great student.
