Anthony Gonzalez is a 2019 RHP/1B/2B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Artesia, CA who attends Richard Gahr HS. Stocky big build with good present strength. Tall delivery with a mid 3/4's arm slot, very compact arm action, will drift out occasionally and get off balance, best when he stays back over the rubber. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, gets nice sinking and running life consistently on his fastball in all locations. Gets the same type of sinking action on his change up. Rare sweeping slider. Ground ball pitcher who can get outs when his delivery is under control. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance, tends to get out on his front side early much like his pitching delivery, short middle of the field line drive swing. First base tools on defense.
