Jun Park is a 2018 OF/C with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Davis, CA who attends Pioneer HS. Compact athletic build with very good upper body strength. Right handed hitter, even stance with a high hand load, has strong hands and is quick to the ball, simple swing without too many moving parts, times up well and repeats, aggressive pull oriented swing, hit a couple of home runs in batting practice and pulled a couple of hard doubles in the game, can use his lower half more for even more bat speed. 7.13 runner, has energy to the ball in the outfield and a quick release, can improve footwork and direction. Secondary catcher, low flexible set up behind the plate, gets rid of the ball quickly with the same young footwork. Bat is interesting. Excellent student.
