Clayton Nolen is a 2019 C/ with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands College Park. Recorded a 7.22 60-yard dash. Present height and athleticism with a high-waisted frame and room to add more physicality. Primary catcher with smooth transfers and an accurate arm. Deliberate overall actions and throws down have good carry to the correct side of the bag. Righthanded hitter with a wide base and spread open stance. Shorter stride to contact with an even swing plane. Simple path to contact with an up-the-middle and pull side approach. Flashed looseness to his hands and to the overall path. Line drive approach and is looking to lift the ball for hard contact. Excellent student.
