Troy Holland is a 2020 1B/LHP with a 6-3 250 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Rialto. Extra large frame with broad shoulders and a bulky build. Ran a 7.79 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary first baseman. Fields the ball out front with a deeper funnel to the body. Long transfer in the back into a soft arm action. Accurate to the bags on throws at 71 miles per hour. Lefthanded hitter with a spread stance and high hands. Short and direct path to contact with strength in hands. Drives the ball hard to the pull side with raw power in bat. Secondary lefthanded pitcher with a deliberate pace in a side step delivery. Late acceleration in the lower half getting down the mound while staying in line with the plate. Commands a straight fastball well around the zone missing barrels at 72 miles per hour. mixes in a short curveball in the upper 50's as well. Named to the 2018 California Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
