Rocco Nappi is a 2021 2B/SS with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Cypress Bay HS. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance and a wide base, clam approach with a good load and shift to contact, keeps things simple and repeatable, sees the ball well and handles the barrel, line drive swing plane, hits to all fields, has hitting skills and will improve as he gets stronger. 7.22 runner, has quick actions in the middle infield, fields the ball cleanly out front, has good arm strength for second base and makes accurate throws. The key will obviously be getting stronger. Excellent student.
