Josh Cone is a 2022 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 166 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Out-Of-Door Academy. Ran a 7.32 second 60 yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher with long limbs and projectability left in the build, starts with a deliberate windup and leg lift above the belt, stays tall on the back side with a quick short arm stroke, fastball showed late life sitting 80-83 mph working primarily to the arm side and filling up the zone, mixed in a curveball with 1-7 shape with depth, has good feel for the breaking ball bringing it in the back door for strikes, does a nice job repeating his mechanics and filling up the zone. Good student.
