Brock Ford is a 2020 RHP/IF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Gadsden, AL who attends Southside HS. Medium frame with presents strength in build. Ran a 7.13 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary middle infielder. Some aggressiveness in close. Fields the ball out front with a funnel in. Okay footwork when coming through to exchange. Gets the ball out quickly with accurate throws across topping out at 76 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an upright and wide base to start. Turns the barrel well into contact with feel for barreling up the ball. Line drive approach working the middle of the field. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a simple delivery into a short takeaway with an extended finish out front. Pitches to the edges of the plate well with the fastball topping out at 74 miles per hour. Creates soft contact with pitches, mixing in a 12-to-6 curveball with average spin to it. Very good student as well.
