Bryce Newman is a 2020 2B/MIF, RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Phenix City, AL who attends Glenwood School Inc. Recorded a 7.51 second 60-yard dash time. Medium, young frame with room to fill out with additional strength. Primary second baseman with long strides to the ball and good fundamentals. Solid footwork with clean hands and arm strength recorded up to 83 mph across the diamond. Athleticism plays nicely and can manipulate slot with intent. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a hanging leg lift trigger into the swing. Level swing plane and the swing gets long at times. Balanced load with a pull approach and a line drive hitter. Can drop the bat head with intent and has some strength through the point of contact. Good student.
