Hunter Meade is a 2018 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Bristow, VA who attends Patriot HS. Recorded a 7.00 second 60-yard dash time; speed played in game with good bursts out of the box. Good present size with a lean and projectable build. Primary shortstop with soft and easy hands. Works well to both sides, particularly on the back hand. Releases the ball quickly with good fluidity. Developing arm strength but solid fundamental tools and room to add strength. Lefthanded hitter with a wide base and closed off stance. High hand set with a high back elbow and swings with intent. Level, even swing plane with a simple path to contact. Flashed bat speed and strength through impact. Looking to lift and elevate the ball. Great student.
