Jackson Jarratt is a 2020 LHP/OF with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Oak HS. Compact build with some present strength. Easy on line delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot, easy to repeat mechanics. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, aggressive in the strike zone with his fastball and locates it to both sides of the plate, mostly straight. Curveball has good downer shape and consistent spin, locates this pitch effectively as well. Didn't see a change up but that would be a good addition to the mix. Plus command potential will be his ticket as he gets stronger and throws harder. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a rock back load, downward swing path with a mid field approach, has some raw strength. Good student.
