Noah Valin is a 2018 OF/LHP with a 6-0 186 lb. frame from Dekalb, IL who attends De Kalb HS. Medium-large frame with athletic present build; body projects well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.11 seconds. Sets up to hit from even-based stance with leg kick trigger, upright posture, momentum driver, flashes ability to generate leverage off of front side as well as quality bat speed through the zone. Line drive swing plane, good extension through lower half along with quality shift, good barrel feel out front with ability to work to all fields at times. Primary outfielder; keeps feet moving and works through the ball well, shows athleticism, footwork is quality, gets rid of ball quickly with throws clocked up to 77 mph. Also saw time at first base, athleticism to footwork and funnel, very athletic for position, quickened release with throws across the diamond clocked up to 75 mph. Very good student.
