Eliezer Yaniel Colon is a 2019 OF/ with a 5-5 155 lb. frame from Guayama, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Colon has a compact body with a stocky build. He's a twitchy athlete who was aggressive to the baseball in the outfield. He has a short arm action that works well and get gets carry on his throws. Colon plays through the baseball well and showed athletic actions. At the plate he starts with a slightly open stance with high hands and a high back elbow. He takes an inside path to the baseball and has a small stride to his swing. He has a very rotational swing and approach and doesn't get much weight shift. He made hard contact in game and showed some bat speed. Colon pitched from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. He worked best to his arm side and created some plane at times. Very good student.
