Robert Burdick is a 2020 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Audubon, PA who attends Devon Preparatory. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.50 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, high takeaway through arm stroke with minimal leverage on the back side, gets up to high three quarters slot, lands online and shows good direction to delivery, fastball worked 72-77 mph with a healthy amount of natural cut, showed slider with some bite to it, did a fair job of throwing strikes and pitching to contact. Hits with hands set near-ear, loads down and creates uphill path, leg kick trigger, quickness to hands through the zone, some length there, showed contact skills. Worked out at 1st base, good positioning, glove works in clean funnel out front, methodical actions with footwork, clocked up to 72 mph on throws. Very good student.
