Carson King is a 2019 OF/ with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Stockdale. Medium frame with a lean build. Projects for additional strength. Primary outfielder with clean, smooth footwork while closing to the baseball. Funnels the baseball well and maintains momentum to target while working through transition. Released from a three-quarters arm slot created accurate carry to the bag at 78 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a balanced, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Created some linear shift into contact and tends to hit off a taller front side. Clean hand path to contact with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Displayed developing feel for the barrel while employing a mid-field approach. Excellent student.
