Austin Pritchett is a 2018 C/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends Montgomery HS. Recorded a 7.35 60-yard dash. Athletic frame with some present size on the build. Primary catcher who gains ground with developing arm strength. Deliberate actions with clean exchanges and releases. Throws were on target and everything worked well together. Quality bat speed at the plate with a slightly open stance. Transfers his weight through the ball and has a direct hand path to contact. Present strength through the point of contact and the ball jumps well off the bat. Swings with intent and has a high power potential as well as hit tool; strides well into contact and remains balanced. Great student.
