Jeff Padilla is a 2022 3B/ with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Iona Preparatory. A 7.79-second runner during the sixty-yard dash. Medium, durable build with present strength throughout his frame. Primary third-baseman, showed a reliable glove that projects at the hot corner, fielding the ball out in front of his body, and can continue to develop his footwork. Gets on top of the ball for accurate throws to first, working through the ball well, throws across the diamond were up to 70mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance with a high-hand set and high back elbow; starts load with deep hand action. Uphill swing path with some lift to the pull side, could work more to the middle-of-the-field and shoot balls to the gaps. Very good student.
