JB Millet is a 2007 2B/SS/3B/OF with a 5'8'', 155 lb. frame from Woodinville, WA, who attends Redmond HS. Millet has a lean, athletic frame with quick actions. Defensively he has good second base actions with soft hands and footwork. Showed good range especially to his glove hand, and threw 71 mph across the diamond. He has the makings of a very good defensive second baseman. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from an open stance. Millet is a patient hitter with good strike zone awareness, and doesn't chase bad pitches. Has a short swing with quick hands and a good bat path. Millet makes consistently good contact to all fields and should hit for a high average. He does everything well on the field, and has great upside to his overall game. Millet is also a very good student who should be followed.
