Hunter Burnett is a 2019 LHP with a 6-2 191 lb. frame from Edmond, OK who attends Edmond North HS. Nice athletic build with good physical projection. Slow paced windup with a long extended arm action, limited lower half drive to the plate with a soft front leg on landing, repeats his mechanics well and stays on line and balanced, high 3/4's arm slot. Low 70's fastball, topped out at 75 mph early, works consistently to the outside half of the plate with intent, has some run and sink to his fastball. Shows good feel for his slider and has an idea how to use it in and out of the zone. Works quickly and throws strikes and makes hitters get themselves out. Would benefit from a straight change up. Good student.
