Christopher Dickens is a 2019 3B/RHP, 1B with a 5-11 210 lb. frame from Wichita Falls, TX who attends Iowa Park HS. Large frame with present strength and physicality on the build. Primary third baseman with deliberate actions and some arm strength. Throws have some carry. Graded out best on the mound where he is a secondary righthanded pitcher. Solid strength through the lower half with a consistent delivery featuring a belt high leg lift. Long arm action and a full arm circle. Higher three-quarter arm slot and the fastball has good cutting action. Can create good downhill angle on the fastball with some late life. Showed a tight 11/5 breaking ball with good spin and late break with a lot of depth. Lefthanded hitter with a coil near the top half of his stance. Upright, even stance with an inside path to contact. Line drive swing plane with a middle of the field approach. Turned the barrel when attacking the baseball out in front. Created very loud contact with good power potential that projects nicely. Named to the 2017 South Underclass Showcase Top Prospect List. Great student.
