Scott Germak is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 6-2 235 lb. frame from Saint Petersburg, FL who attends Lakewood HS. Large frame with strength to the build and a strong lower half. Primary righthanded pitcher with a long whippy arm stroke. Good mound presence and creates deception in the delivery with numerous moving parts. Bigger leg lift and hip turn down the mound with a repeatable delivery. Commands both sides of the plate with a fastball that was up to 85 mph with riding life. Adds and subtracts with the curveball and can use a changeup against lefthanded hitters. Arm strength played nicely from secondary position of first base. Lefthanded hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Upper half dominant swing with a pull side approach. Open stance with a lofted swing plane. Good student.
