Ethan Thomas is a 2019 RHP/3B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Northlake, TX who attends Byron Nelson HS. Long and lean build with broad shoulders and plenty of room to fill out and get stronger. Lower half rotational delivery, swings the gate and lands open with his front side, hooked arm action in back, hides the ball effectively. Steady upper 70's fastball, gets good running action at times and works his fastball to both sides of the plate. Slider showed some potential as his breaking ball with some tilt and bite. Curveball is still developing, slows arm significantly on release. Shows some athletic looseness as a position player with a quick release defensively and some developing bat speed from the right side. Excellent student.
