Sam Suggs is a 2019 C/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Coldwater, MS who attends Senatobia HS. Recorded a 7.36 60-yard dash. Strong frame with present strength and physical projection. Good arm strength at the catcher position with a deliberate transfer from the glove to the throwing motion; arm strength up to 75 mph. Recorded an impressive pop time of 2.08. Blocks well behind the plate and showed good footwork as well. Simple approach at the plate with a short, compact swing path. Ball jumped off the bat on occasion with a line drive end result. Low hand set and the ability to drive the ball. Great student.
