Drew Wyman is a 2021 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Hampton, NH who attends Winnacunnet. Large frame with slender, highly-projectable build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.13 seconds. Hits from open stance with high back elbow, loads front leg to back leg and then strides into swing, quickness to barrel on line drive plane with middle field approach, shows quality contact skills, projects well for power long term. Primary first baseman, good positioning with solid footwork, hands work out front, clean arm stroke with quick release, clocked up to 73 mph on throws. Also took outfield reps, really nice footwork, efficient movements throughout, shows athleticism and good internal timer, clocked up to 76 mph on throws. Graded out better in the OF. Also pitched, hides the ball well as he coils back over rubber, lower slot release with angle and crossfire, fastball worked 68-71 mph with some cutting life, worked in a short slider as well. Good student.
